  • It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Thao Mai and the “Care To Breathe?” respiratory home care company.

Thao worked under my supervision as a registered respiratory therapist for four years.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Thao, and came to know her as a truly valuable asset to our respiratory department. She is trustworthy, dependable and very hard working. Her knowledge of respiratory therapies and her expertise in respiratory equipment was a great advantage to our facility. She uses her skillset to make sure her patients have the best possible care.

Along with her remarkable talent, Thao has always been a joy to work with. Her patients and co-workers always appreciated her positive attitude.

Thao is a dedicated and knowledgeable respiratory therapist, who will undoubtedly succeed with her respiratory business.

QUICK TIPS FOR BETTER BREATHING, BETTER LIFE

Tip #1

For high stress, Meditation breathing: Close your eyes and relax your body & mind. Take a deep breath in for 3 seconds and exhale as much air out as you can for 5 seconds through your nose. Repeat 10 breaths for better result before you resume back to work.

Tip #2

For mild COPD distress, Pursed-lip breathing: Take a deep breathe in for 2 seconds through your nose, but keep your mouth closed. Then, breathe out for 4 seconds through pursed lips (form like a kiss lip). Pursed-lip breathing helps improve oxygen flow into the lungs. Repeat 3-5 breaths for better result.

Tip #3

For anxiety, Advanced Deep Breathing: Take deep breath in through your stomach and chest for 5 seconds. Then, hold breath to help regain your CO2 levels, and reduce hyperventilation for 7 seconds. Finally, exhale out all the air for 9 seconds. Repeat 5 breaths to reduce your anxiety.
